Clarissa, ca. 1852-?
Clarissa, alternatively spelled Clerrisa, was sold as a slave as a baby from Archibald Thompson to Michael Reed with her mother Sarah on August 5, 1853. She was inherited by Sarah Sparks upon the death of Michael Reed, without her mother.

Daniel, ca. 1821-?
Daniel, or Dan, was sold as a slave at age 35 to Michael Reed by B. Pool on January 2, 1856. He was included in Reed’s ledger of daily slave activities and evidently performed outdoor labor. He was assigned a $900 value in Martha Reed’s estate inventory and inherited by John Reed upon Michael Reed's death.

Edmond, ca. 183u-?
Edmond, or Ed, was sold as a slave at age 14 to Michael Reed by John and Emily Galloway some time in the 1840s. Edmond ran away from Reed but was recaptured according to a receipt of payment from Michael Reed for jail and legal fees totaling $24.35, charged for the imprisonment of Edmond, a slave to Reed who had run away, and the release of Edmond back to Reed. He was included in Reed’s ledger of daily slave activities as "Ed" and evidently performed outdoor labor.

Elizabeth was sold as a slave at age 16 to Michael Reed by John B. Crowley on June 19, 1855. Eliza, birth date unknown but possibly the same person as Elizabeth, was inherited by William Reed upon the death of Michael Reed.
