Names of those enslaved include Jack, Dan, Ed, Gim/Jim, Johan, Gorge/George, Abe, Little Gim/Jim, Bill, Luce, Bet, Sal, Lizzy/Lizey, Nelee[?], Ike, and Johan. Activities include working with cotton and corn, ginning, herding, clearing, cow hunting, plowing, bailing, "river bank," "house," "sick," chopping, fodder, and "nothing." Also included in what appears to once have been gathered into a booklet are several receipts, a remedy, and a printed document "An Act to Provide an Internal Improvement Fund, and to Commence a System of Internal Improvements by the State." -
