Under the photo is written 'Private Chadwick'. The photo on the bottom left-hand side is of a man standing and posing by the bayonet run - a row of bundles of twigs and branches hung from a wooden structure. Buildings and trees are visible in the background. The photo on the bottom right-hand side is of the same man in the previous photo, who is standing with one foot propped up on one of the fence posts set up as a barbed wire entanglement. Fence posts and barbed wire are visible on either side of the man and buildings and trees are visible in the background.
