This is a typed letter with a typed letterhead of 'War Department Committee on Education and Special Training, 10th District - Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma' and is dated 'University Station, Austin, Texas Dec. 12, 1918'. It is from 'R.P. Brooks, District Director War Issues Course, Tenth District' and is to 'Instructors in the War Issues Course'. The body of the letter addresses the end of governmental supervision of courses in universities that had SATC units (due to the end of the SATC as a result of World War I ending). The War Issues course is available to be continued on a voluntary basis for those institutions that are interested.
